Overview

Improve vehicle awareness and parking safety with the iBeam TE-8PSK 8-Sensor Front and Rear Parking Assist Kit, designed for use on cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, RVs, and commercial vehicles. This ultrasonic detection system provides front and rear obstacle sensing to assist drivers during parking and low-speed maneuvering.

The system includes 8 ultrasonic sensors (4 front and 4 rear) that detect objects within a range of up to 5 feet at the rear and up to 2.5 feet at the front. As the vehicle approaches an obstacle, the system provides an audible warning and visual LED distance display, increasing in frequency as distance decreases to help improve driver awareness and reduce collision risk.

The TE-8PSK includes a central control module and LED display unit, which shows the detected distance in feet and provides real-time feedback during operation. The system automatically activates based on vehicle inputs, such as reverse or accessory triggers, depending on installation configuration.

Built for universal applications, the system operates on 12V (9–16V) vehicle electrical systems and uses 40 kHz ultrasonic sensors for accurate distance detection. The sensors are designed for bumper installation and include mounting hardware and a hole saw for installation.

The system also includes a learning function, which allows it to recognize permanent vehicle obstructions such as spare tires or trailer hitches to reduce false alerts and improve accuracy.
