KENWOOD CMOS-240U Universal Camera with Multiple Mounting Options
The KENWOOD CMOS-240U is a versatile universal camera designed to provide improved visibility for rear-view or front-view applications. Featuring a compact 1/3-inch color CMOS sensor, a wide 125° horizontal viewing angle and 103° vertical viewing angle, the camera provides a broad view to help make reversing, parking, and maneuvering easier.
Designed for flexible installation, the CMOS-240U includes four mounting options: a square mount, metal mount, rubber mount, and license plate mount. This versatile mounting system makes it suitable for a wide range of vehicle installations and allows the camera to be positioned according to the vehicle's design and installation requirements.
The camera uses a 1/3-inch color CMOS sensor with approximately 470,000 pixels and features a wide-angle f/1.8 lens for clear, expansive coverage. Its IP69K water- and dust-resistant construction helps protect the camera in demanding automotive environments, while a minimum illumination of approximately 0.1 lux supports visibility in low-light conditions.
For additional installation flexibility, the CMOS-240U supports selectable mirror or normal image orientation, allowing it to be configured for rear-view or front-view use. On-screen parking guidelines can also be enabled or disabled depending on the intended application.
The CMOS-240U outputs a standard composite video signal and operates on DC 9–16V, making it suitable for compatible vehicle monitors and receivers with a camera/video input. The compact camera measures approximately 21.9 × 21.9 × 24.4 mm and weighs about 28.3 g, excluding the cable.
