The AXTO-TY1 is designed for vehicles that require a data signal to activate the factory amplifier after installing an aftermarket radio. By communicating with the vehicle’s factory electronics, the interface allows the original amplifier and speakers to continue operating while providing the necessary connections for an aftermarket receiver upgrade.
The interface provides 12-volt accessory power and retains Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.), allowing the aftermarket radio to operate with factory-style power control. The AXTO-TY1 also features adjustable gain control to help match audio levels between the aftermarket receiver and factory amplifier system for improved sound balance.
