The AXTO-MAX is designed specifically for amplified factory systems and provides a data signal turn-on for the factory amplifier, allowing seamless integration with compatible aftermarket receivers. The interface also supplies 12-volt 10-amp accessory power, eliminating the need to locate an accessory wire during installation.
To support modern multimedia receivers, the AXTO-MAX provides navigation outputs including parking brake, reverse, and speed sense signals. It also retains the factory backup camera with an included 6-volt camera turn-on converter, allowing continued use of the original camera after replacing the factory radio.
The interface helps preserve the factory listening experience by retaining the factory 3.5mm AUX input, balance controls, and audible parking sensor warnings. An adjustable gain control allows installers to fine-tune overall system volume, while the high-level speaker input provides additional installation flexibility.
