Its built-in Auto-Detect technology automatically identifies the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls to simplify installation and programming.
Designed for both amplified and non-amplified factory audio systems, the AXTC-VW1 provides 12-volt accessory power, retains Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.), and supplies important navigation outputs including parking brake, reverse, and vehicle speed sense signals for compatible multimedia receivers. The interface also provides a 12-volt illumination output for supported aftermarket radio installations.
The AXTC-VW1 offers advanced programming flexibility with the ability to dual-assign steering wheel control buttons and manually program the interface for many applications. Its nonvolatile memory retains settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal, helping reduce setup time during installation and service.
