The AXTC-TY2BT supports both amplified and non-amplified factory audio systems and provides 12-volt accessory power, Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.), and navigation outputs including parking brake, reverse, and speed sense signals for compatible aftermarket multimedia receivers. It also retains balance and fade controls on compatible systems and supports factory backup camera retention when equipped.
The interface includes Micro-B USB update capability, allowing installers to keep firmware current for future compatibility improvements. Its nonvolatile memory retains programmed settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal, helping simplify future service and maintenance.
