Supported personalization features may include vehicle settings such as locks, security, lighting, chimes, and audio adjustments, helping maintain a more factory-style experience after replacing the original radio.
Designed for both amplified and non-amplified Mazda audio systems, the AXTC-MZ1BT retains factory steering wheel audio controls and supports dual assignment of steering wheel buttons for additional customization. Its Auto-Detect technology automatically identifies the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset control settings, helping simplify installation and setup with a wide range of aftermarket radio brands.
The AXTC-MZ1BT provides 12-volt 10-amp accessory power and retains Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.) after the factory radio is removed. It also supplies navigation outputs, including parking brake, reverse, and speed sense signals, for compatible multimedia receivers. Additional retained features include factory backup camera operation when equipped and balance and fade control support on compatible non-amplified systems.
Featuring Micro-B USB update capability and nonvolatile memory, the AXTC-MZ1BT keeps programmed settings stored even after battery disconnection or interface removal. This allows for easier servicing, future software updates, and consistent performance throughout the life of the installation.
