The AXTC-FD3 combines Axxess Total Control technology with built-in steering wheel control integration, allowing users to retain factory steering wheel audio controls after replacing the original radio. The interface supports dual assignment of steering wheel control buttons, giving installers the ability to customize button functions and create a more personalized driving experience.
Featuring Auto-Detect technology, the AXTC-FD3 automatically identifies the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset control settings to simplify programming and installation. Compatible with major aftermarket radio brands, the interface also supports manual programming and retains settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal.
Designed for non-amplified Ford audio systems, the AXTC-FD3 provides 12-volt 10-amp accessory power and retains Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.) after replacing the factory radio. It also provides navigation outputs, including parking brake, reverse, and speed sense signals, along with a 12-volt illumination output for compatible multimedia receivers.
The AXTC-FD3 helps maintain a factory-style experience by retaining balance and fade controls while providing seamless communication between the vehicle and aftermarket receiver. The interface features Micro-B USB update capability and nonvolatile memory, allowing programmed settings to remain stored for easier servicing, future updates, and installation adjustments.

Please note that the AXTC-FD3 does not retain the factory Ford SYNC® system and is intended for compatible aftermarket radio replacement applications.
