The patented Add-A-Sub™ technology restores and extends low-frequency response that is often limited by factory radios, allowing your subwoofer to deliver deeper, cleaner bass.
The AXSUB-GM5 provides a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output specifically designed for aftermarket subwoofer amplifiers. Featuring a fixed 234Hz low-pass crossover, the interface delivers a dedicated bass signal while preserving the performance of the factory audio system.
Designed for a clean installation, the AXSUB-GM5 installs directly at the radio location and includes a vehicle-specific T-harness for quick plug-and-play integration. The included dash-mountable bass control knob allows drivers to conveniently adjust subwoofer output levels without accessing the amplifier.
The interface also provides a 250mA remote turn-on output to activate an aftermarket amplifier and features Micro-B USB update capability for future software updates. For vehicles equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a vehicle-specific ANC bypass harness may be required for proper operation.
