Designed for select 2019 and newer GM vehicles with non-amplified factory audio systems, this vehicle-specific interface provides a simple plug-and-play solution for adding an aftermarket subwoofer and amplifier while keeping the factory radio in place.
The AXSUB-GM4 utilizes Axxess Add-A-Sub™ technology to restore low-frequency audio that is often limited by factory sound systems. It provides a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output with a fixed 234Hz low-pass crossover, delivering a dedicated bass signal for an aftermarket subwoofer amplifier without affecting the rest of the factory audio system.
Designed for a clean installation, the AXSUB-GM4 installs directly at the radio location using the included vehicle-specific T-harness, eliminating the need to cut factory wiring. A dash-mountable bass control knob is included, allowing convenient adjustment of subwoofer output levels from the driver's seat.
The interface also provides a 250mA remote turn-on output for activating an aftermarket amplifier and features Micro-B USB update capability to support future software updates. On select vehicles equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), an additional ANC bypass harness may be required for proper operation.
