The AXSUB-FD3 utilizes Axxess Add-A-Sub™ technology to deliver a dedicated low-frequency signal from the factory audio system without replacing the original radio. It features a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output with a fixed 234Hz low-pass crossover, providing a clean, optimized signal for an aftermarket subwoofer amplifier while preserving the performance of the factory speakers.
Designed for quick installation, the AXSUB-FD3 connects at the radio location using the included vehicle-specific T-harness, eliminating the need to cut or modify factory wiring. A dash-mountable bass level control knob is included, allowing drivers to conveniently adjust subwoofer output levels from the driver's seat.
The interface also provides a 250mA remote turn-on output to activate an aftermarket amplifier and features Micro-B USB update capability for future firmware updates and expanded vehicle compatibility.
