The AXSUB-FD1 utilizes Axxess Add-A-Sub™ technology to extract a dedicated low-frequency signal from the factory audio system without replacing the original radio. It features a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output with a fixed 234Hz low-pass crossover, delivering a clean, optimized bass signal for an aftermarket subwoofer amplifier while maintaining the performance of the factory speakers.
Installation is quick and straightforward using the included vehicle-specific T-harness, allowing the interface to connect directly at the radio location without cutting or modifying factory wiring. A dash-mountable bass level control knob is included, providing convenient adjustment of subwoofer output from the driver's seat.
The AXSUB-FD1 also features a 250mA remote turn-on output to activate an aftermarket amplifier and includes Micro-B USB update capability for future firmware updates and expanded compatibility with supported vehicles.
