The AXSUB-CH5 utilizes Axxess Add-A-Sub™ technology to provide a dedicated low-frequency signal from the factory audio system without replacing the original radio. It features a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output with a fixed 234Hz low-pass crossover, delivering a clean bass signal optimized for aftermarket subwoofer amplifiers while maintaining the performance of the factory speakers.
Installation is quick and professional with the included vehicle-specific T-harness, allowing the interface to connect at the radio location without cutting or modifying factory wiring. A dash-mountable bass level control knob is included, providing convenient adjustment of subwoofer output directly from the driver's seat.
The AXSUB-CH5 also includes a 250mA remote turn-on output for activating an aftermarket amplifier and features Micro-B USB update capability for future firmware updates and expanded compatibility with supported applications.
