The integrated Faraday ring minimizes distortion, providing a cleaner output, while the Kevlar-treated cone ensures long-lasting durability, even at high volumes. Built for reliability, the 2nd-Gen R-Series Subwoofers include a polypropylene/ceramic composite dust cap for superior rigidity and internal damping. This unique design smooths bass response and enhances heat resistance for uninterrupted performance. With Alpine’s High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround technology, the subwoofer cone can move with a total excursion of 20mm, enabling precise air movement and cool operation for consistent accuracy. Designed with flexibility in mind, the subwoofers feature a Dual Voice Coil (DVC) and “EZ-Change” twist-lock grille system for seamless installation. Compatible with the KTE-10G Grille System (sold separately), the 2nd-Gen R-Series Subwoofers offer versatile application options, making them an ideal upgrade for high-performance car audio enthusiasts.

The 2nd-Gen R-Series Subwoofers now feature larger, double-stacked magnets that contribute more motor force for deeper bass and tighter bass control from the subwoofer cone compared to the previous generation. An integrated Faraday ring minimizes distortion for cleaner bass output. A Kevlar-treated cone ensures durability in the subwoofer for reliable performance, even at high volumes.
