FIRST-RATE ALPINE ENGINEERING FOR THE JEEP WRANGLER

The 9" i209-WRA is Alpine engineered for the Jeep Wrangler JK. The i209-WRA comes with a stunning rugged dash bezel that houses the oversized 9" screen and provides a matching fit and finish to your Wrangler, as if it came that way from the factory. The big crystal buttons for music and smartphone navigation sources are backlit to match the color of your Wrangler’s factory gauges. The i209-WRA is mech-less (no CD/DVD slot) but still has plenty of entertainment options to keep your drive enjoyable.

A LITTLE WATER OR DIRT NEVER HURT

Taking your Wrangler off the beaten path? The i209-WRA can keep up with the fun, even when dirt, light rain and dust catch you off guard. The 9" touchscreen and dash kit are splash-proof and dust-proof, rated at IP53* so the adventure can go on uninterrupted.

*IP53 Rating: Protection against dust with limited ingress and fresh water spray from up to 60° vertical.

APPLE CARPLAY & ANDROID AUTO

Be smart when using your phone on the road. The i209-WRA is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. After connecting your smartphone via the charging cable, and activating Bluetooth for Android Auto use, you get your music, driving directions, and phone calls – all controlled from the 9" touchscreen and heard through your vehicle’s speaker system -- so you don’t have to look at or touch your phone and can keep it safely stored away. The i209-WRA does not have a built-in GPS navigation system. Instead, navigation guidance is provided by the maps feature in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto so you get driving directions displayed on the large, 9-inch screen.

APPLE CARPLAY

The i209-WRA “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the “Voice” hard button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable).

ANDROID AUTO

The i209-WRA is Android Auto Compatible. Android Auto was designed with safety in mind. With a simple and intuitive interface, integrated steering wheel controls, and powerful new voice actions, it’s designed to minimize distraction so drivers can stay focused on the road (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection; compatible with Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher). Android Auto is accessed through the capacitive touchscreen or the “Voice” hard button with voice control.

TAKE THE COMMAND CENTER BEYOND THE DASH

Have you upgraded your Jeep Wrangler JK with accessories like a winch, light bar, and tire air compressor? No need to add switches that clutter your dash. Now you can conveniently control these accessories directly from the i209-WRA’s touchscreen! The KAC-001 Accessory Controller (sold separately) turns the i209-WRA into a hub to connect and control these accessories. Eight individual outputs are available to control eight relay-connected accessories, and the accessories can be configured as Pulsed, Latched or Momentary Outputs. Preloaded graphical icons can be assigned to each accessory for quick identification on the screen.

CONTROLLING MULTIPLE CAMERA SYSTEMS HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER

The i209-WRA comes with one camera input that can be assigned as a front or rear camera. Add the HCE-TCAM1-WRA Rear View Camera and Light System for style and another set of eyes for the rear. Choose a front and side camera with various views like ground view, wide-angle views to see past your Wrangler and multi-angle views to see two images on the screen. Adding a front camera to your JK is also helpful to maneuver around obstacles on trails.

If your Wrangler has multiple camera systems, the KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector (sold separately) allows them to be easily controlled right from the i209-WRA’s 9" touchscreen. The names of the connected camera systems appear on the main screen, so simply select the camera system you want to use. You can then choose the viewing option from that camera to be displayed on the screen.

CUSTOMIZABLE SHORTCUTS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

The My Favorites feature offers convenient shortcuts for the functions that you use the most, such as: • Audio Sources (HD Radio™, Pandora®, iPod®, SiriusXM, HDMI/DVD, AUX) • Navigation Commands (Favorite Destinations, Quick Place Search, Categories) • Phone Settings (Most-dialed Contacts)

It’s super easy to add new favorites to the My Favorites Screen. Just look for the “Add Favorites” icon on the upper right of the screen on any source screens and tap it to quickly add it to My Favorites. Easily add, delete, and re-arrange your shortcut icons by dragging the icon(s) to a new location on the screen. Your settings are kept as a personal profile linked to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CALLING AND AUDIO STREAMING

Be smart when using your phone on the road. The built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology allows for hands-free calling, secure simple pairing (SSP) and call waiting. Icons depicting phone battery level and cellular signal level are shown on the 9-inch screen. Expand your entertainment options with audio streaming from your smartphone.

ANDROID AUTO

The i209-WRA includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favorite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands free.
